Terraria PvP guide

Introduction
So i have been playing Terraria for a long time, both before and after the 1.1 patch. When i finished 1.1 i started looking in to pvp, and i got an idea that i've been working a lot on. I haven't actually tried it yet, but as soon as i have, i will update this hub with the results.
Base idea
So the base idea of this PvP mode is that two or more teams defend their statue/flag/whatever you want to use. You start with only a few things but the start things, completely new characters and ofcourse your flag. You then build your castle and defend it, while trying to steal the other teams flag, or dig to find ores and treasure to make you more powerful and capable of taking your objective. This PvP game is not short, and you might need to do this over several days.
Start of the game
Each team starts with several things, making the early game a little more exciting, so you won't just be camping your base all the time. You then have till the second day dawns, to build your castle and prepare for PvP. During this time, pvp will be turned off, and you can't steal the enemies flag
Each team starts with:
A house and a bed. This way you can set your spawnpoint.
A stack of obsidian. This is for building your castle or base or whatever you'll use for defending your flag.
A silver pickaxe for each partymember
30 Torches
A flag, or something else for the opposing teams to steal.
A wrench and a wirecutter.
An iron broadsword for each partymember.
An iron axe for each partymember.
An iron hammer for each partymember.
One nightmare pickaxe. This can only be used while building your castle though, and must be destroyed when the PvP starts.
If you're more than two teams, you might want to give the middle team some extra stuff at start since they're more vulnerable to attacks. This could for example be 2 stepping stones, 20 wires and 2 dart traps. These can be stolen though! so be careful.
Rules
For gameplay purposes, there's a few rules.
As for your castle, you're free to build it however you want. But once the game starts, you can't change it. Getting to the flag must be possible without a grappling hook, bombs or a pickaxe. If you place lava, make sure that it's still possible to get to the flag. If you place lava up till 3 blocks below the roof, it's not possible to get to the other side, as you can't place blocks and still get over it. Also, your castle must be close to your house, and you can't change spawnpoint.
Dart traps can be places however you want, but it can only be triggered with pressureplates and not levers, switches or timers.
You can't use explosives other than grenades and you can't make a better pickaxe than silver. This way, your castle will stay intact. During bloodmoons, clowns can spawn and ruin your castle. You will then be allowed to repair it while other players can't steal your flag during this time.
You can't use npc's as they will randomly go to one teams house and they would have an advantage. Money is useless in this game. You can, however, if you want, use it to trade with eachother. The inflation would cause a problem though, and trading items normally would be better though. If a deal is made, players must keep their promise and trade the item.
You can't kill the wall of flesh or go to the dungeon. The reason you can't go to the dungeon is because this would be so much easier for the team that is very close to the dungeon, and other teams could easily be stopped by this team.
Decide how to win the game. Either end the game when one team captures a flag and bring it to their base. This team either wins or the other team who lost their flag is eliminated from the game. The other option is that you keep playing, but keep score. Each team will then start with many flags, but will only hang up one at a time. Each flag is a point and can't be taken back. Once a flag is taken, the next flag will then be hung in the same place as the previous flag.
Alternative rules, if you have enough players for it, could be a trader/arenamaster. This role sells and buys stuff and can even own the npc's (this way both teams can use them, but explosives still can't be used). He can also run arena matches between the different teams with all kinds of different rules and prizes for the winner. You can also pit players against monsters with the new statues that spawn monsters. If you can, kill the skeleton prime before starting the game. This way, the trader could go to the dungeon to get good weapons, bones and spikes to sell to the teams. The trader can also do random events, like spawning a meteor by killing the eater of worlds, or making a lavarain (advanced method). This could also add some really fun elements to the game. This alternative rule is highly recommended, as the trader can be objective and secure a balanced game.
Advanced tactics
In this section i will list some different classes that might work well in this gamemode. These classes can be mixed any way you want.
Bruiser: The bruiser goes for max health and the best armor in the game (which in this gamemode is the molten armor, since you can't kill the wall of flesh). Additionally a weapon could be spears or swords. Swords have greater knockback and damage, but shorter range.
Archer: The archer can use molten or necromancer armor. The archer either uses bow and arrows, bullets, thrown weapons, or a blowpipe. Boomerang type weapons can also be used, but less effectively as they deal melee damage.
Mage: The mage uses spells like demon scythe, vilethorn and magic missile. Especially the vilethorn and magic missile can be effective in this gamemode as the vilethorn goes through walls, and the magic missile can be guided around corners.
Saboteur: The saboteur doesn't use armor or clothes at all. The saboteur uses invisibility potions to get close to the enemy base and sabotage them by for example: Summoning a boss, planting corruption seeds or planting meteorite so the meteor heads will spawn.
Thanks for reading, have fun and i will be posting my results once i've tried this.

AWESOME IDD
me and my friend going to use this idea... maybe a few changes like active stone wire and that stuff, but game master sounds awesome but he could just be in admin and spawn the stuff in instead of gathering it seen easier.
